Our core principle — data minimisation. We collect and store only the personal information reasonably necessary to deliver our services and run our business. We do not collect more than we need, and we do not use your information for purposes you would not reasonably expect.

5Your data within the Edgepoint Service

When we deliver our Service, the data and systems that make up your Edgepoint environment are treated as confidential and are tethered to you. We act on your instructions in respect of that data. We do not sell it, and we do not use your private business data to train shared or generic models used for other clients. Access is limited to authorised personnel who need it to deliver and support the Service, under confidentiality obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose personal information:

to trusted service providers who help us operate our business and deliver our services (see §7), subject to confidentiality and privacy obligations;
where you have consented to the disclosure;
where required or authorised by law, or to protect our legal rights.

10Cookies & website analytics

This website uses privacy-focused analytics to understand aggregate site usage (such as page views and general location). These analytics do not use tracking cookies and do not track you across other websites. We do not serve advertising or use advertising trackers on this site. Your browser settings can be used to manage or block cookies where they are used.

11Accessing & correcting your information

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Contact us using the details in §1. We will respond within a reasonable period. There is generally no charge for making a request, though a reasonable cost may apply for retrieving certain information. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles or mishandled your personal information, please contact us first using the details in §1 so we can investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.
